Life Coaching and Omnifocus
14 Oct
Hi guys, how you doing! I’m feeling so good today, loving life, loving being back at uni and knocking another thing of the to do list, working it step by step, bit by bit I’m climbing the mountain.
Ok so a bit enthusiastic but today I feel like I’ve turned a corner. I’ve been for my first full lecture at uni today and really got on with some of the work thats started piling up recently. I’m going to talk about some of the tools I’m using to help me become more organised and how I’m getting the most out of my time.
I had my first life coaching meeting this evening which opened my eyes. Life coaching is a a practice with the stated aim of helping clients determine and achieve personal goals and works by the coach asking specific questions to help the client develop their own answer to their problems. A lot of top executives use life coaching as a way to order their thoughts and I found it amazingly useful, just to be able to talk about my life and get my thoughts in order with the help of someone else. I’d recommend it to anyone who was busy and struggling to decide which path in life to take. The great thing with life coaching is it gets you to set your own goals and tasks to do, which brings me nicely on to my next talking point.
Omnifocus is my life line, I honestly don’t think I could live without it now. Basically Omnifocus is a to do list on steroids, paired with my iPhone it means all my projects are with me all the time and it can even work out what tasks I have to do where I am using GPS. Difficult to explain but if you need a project management tool for the mac then this is it. I love it and think you should all give it a go.
So this is my post for today speak soon.

I agree Oll. I’ve been using OmniFocus for the past 8 months and it is the most powerful and flexible GTD available. Only down side is that it is only available for Mac and iPhone. Caused me to buy a MacBook just so I could use it in my all Windows shop at work. John
That seems like a good excuse to be buying a mac
I never looked back after switching and it’s things like Omnifocus that make it worth it!
