April Nottingham

The first national regatta of the season has been and gone with some good performances. Firstly congratulations to everyone who was promoted especial Matt and Mark for their promotions to Mens A.

I had a mixed regatta, considering the time of year and the amount of paddling I have done I thought it was reasonable but there’s still a long way to go yet. I was pleased with my 500m but my 1000m final could have been better. I’ve listed my results below.

Boys A K1 500m Heat: 2nd – 2.04.47

Boys A  K1 500m Final: 3rd – 2.04.63

Boys A  K2 500m Final: 1st – 1.55.49

Boys A  K1 1000m Heat: 2nd – 4.14.45

Boys A  K1 1000m Final: 6th – 4.25.81

Now just got to get back to training and try to be faster for the next national regatta in May.

A Day at Coca Cola

Hi Guys. Yesterday I was lucky enough to spend the day working at Coca Cola to see what working as a Coca Cola Sales rep would be like, it was a great experience.

The day started with a presentation from Coca Cola Enterprise’s Managing Director for the South East to the six athletes who were involved. I then went out on the road with a sales rep in the lovely red van below.

A big thanks to Sport 2 Business who enabled this all to be possible and to Coca Cola for making me so welcome and giving me a good experience.
